Florida Alligators Spotted at Schools
Florida deputies had to restrain a 7 ½-foot alligator that was spotted by the crossing guard at a local elementary school.

Schools in the Tampa Bay area seem to be an alligator stomping ground as of late. Recently, deputies restrained a 7 ½-foot alligator from an elementary school. A crossing guard spotted the large nuisance in the nick of time, as children had just begun to arrive at the school. Another gator was spotted heading to class last month, and in June, a 7-foot gator was caught roaming around a middle school campus.
