Feds Seek to Expand Hunting in Colorado Refuge

Federal officials have proposed expanding hunting privileges in 10 national wildlife refuges across the country.

Federal officials have proposed opening a national wildlife refuge in Colorado that is home to waterfowl, moose, deer, elk, coyotes and other animals to more hunting.


The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced that it seeks to expand hunting privlidges in 10 refuges total across the country.


According to officials, the expansions would be useful tools in wildlife managment, including controlling animal populations.

by all means , open this refuge to hunting but if the D.O.W.wants to control herd size they need to change the antler restriction and allow us meat hunters to harvest younger bulls.
