DWR Director Breaks Law, Requests Citation
After DWR Director Jim Karpowitz broke the law while hunting sage grouse, he requested a citation for the violation.

DWR Director Jim Karpowitz was alarmed to find he had accidentally broken the law while hunting sage grouse on private property, and immediately requested that he be given a citation for it. Karpowitz was given a $138 fine, and the two sage grouse he had taken were confiscated.
