British Columbia logger Jesse Mengler reportedly saved himself from harm last month when he hit a charging bear with a rock. Mengler, a former baseball pitcher, was assessing a wooded area when the bear charged, and he hit it between the eyes with the projectile.
"It had one intention and that intention was me," Mengler told CBC News.
