9/10/2010 Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker is claiming that a third party is needed to regulate Wisconsin deer because many hunters have lost faith in how the Department of Natural Resources manages the herd. Walker, who is running for Govenor of the state, said he will take politics out of deer management with a so-called “whitetail deer trustee.” Walker also asserted that he would “put more deer in the forest” with the help of the trustee and other internal changes.
