Supreme Justice Elena Kagan Hunts Big Game With Antonin Scalia

Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, known for her more liberal ideologies, revealed that she has hunted birds and big game—more than once.

At the recent Aspen Ideas Festival, Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, known for her more liberal ideologies, revealed that she has hunted birds and big game—more than once. Kagan, who grew up in Manhattan’s Upper West Side where it was uncommon to find hunters, said in an interview that she surreptitiously invited herself hunting with Justice Antonin Scalia during repeated inquiries from House and Senate Republicans and Democrats about her position on firearms and the Second Amendment. She said she has since hunted birds with Scalia several times, and last fall participated in a Wyoming big-game hunt where she tagged her first deer. Kagan said future hunting endeavors include ducks. Watch the full interview.

Not everyone's political leanings are as obvious as one might think. Anyone remember David Souter? I'm sure George Bush would probably like to forget him.

We can only hope a little of Scalia will rub off on her.

if this article entices you to believe that justice kagan is a supporter of the second amendment, just remember who nominated her. in case you don't know it was president pinhead.

I will give her credit for trying out something new like hunting and the fact that she wants to continue with it. I do disagree with many of her views however and I wouldn't count her as a 2nd Amendment supporter.
