undefinedAs if you didn’t already know how much women enjoy bowhunting—and hunting in general—take a peek at this photo of Linda Thompson of Rose City, Mich., with the black bear she dropped in Nakina, Ontario, Canada, in 2013. She is one of many women showcased in the American Hunter June print edition as part of our "Members’ Best" roundup of trophy pics.

Thompson said she and her PSE Stiletto weren't about to be sidelined by a mere torrential downpour. She climbed into her treestand despite the rain and within 20 minutes dropped this 340-pound bruin at 7 yards.

To see more 2014 photo submissions, pick up the June print edition (out this week) or check back here at americanhunter.org. And as you enjoy this year’s hunting seasons, be ready to submit photos of your own in 2015!
