Hot on the heels of its popular Razorback XT rifle ammunition, Winchester is giving dedicated hog hunters a pair of brand new options in 2013 with its XT .44 Rem. Mag. for handgun hunters and XT buckshot and slug loads for shotgun hunters.
The .44 Rem. Mag. Razorback XT cartridges will be 225-grain, and will include an engineered hollow point for delayed expansion. The six position beveled profile delays expansion and is designed to strengthen the expanded segments for high weight retention and deep penetration.
The 12-gauge Razorback XT buckshot load will feature eight buffered 00 pellets designed to provide close range knockdown power. The rifle slug is meant to segment into three equal pieces upon impact for maximum trauma.
Each of the new Razorback XT products will be available at Winchester dealers early in 2013.
