Bushnell Gives Another $145,000 to Folds of Honor

Bushnell Outdoor Products 2012 donation brings its total to $450,000 since its partnership began in 2010.

Bushnell Outdoor Products has announced it will donate $145,000 to the Folds of Honor Foundation for 2012. The sport optics and outdoor accessories company has donated $450,000 since the beginning of the partnership in 2010 to the organization that helps support the families of disabled or fallen soldiers. Folds of Honor, founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of service members disabled or killed during U.S. military service. Major Rooney, a former F-16 pilot, served three tours in Iraq.

Bushnell has also partnered with Craig Morgan, who is a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Army to launch a donation download program. Morgan's song "What Matters Most," which is a tribute to U.S. service women and men who defend America's freedom, is available to download for $1, and the proceeds go to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Bushnell will donate up to $10,000 through this download program.
