NYC to Kill Nuisance Geese, Feed to Needy in Pa.

New York City has annually culled a portion of its nuisance goose population ever since the birds famously brought down U.S. Airways Flight 1549. I have no problem with goose control, but it did seem a tad wasteful to kill the birds and dump them into a landfill. Fortunately this year the geese will feed needy people in Pennsylvania, thanks to a decision by NYC's Department of Environmental Protection. A common-sense decision rendered by NYC government--imagine that!

Video: Crazy Goose Fight Ends Badly

I warned you about hormonal, city geese, did I not? The video below captures a violent encounter between two testosterone-fueled geese. They're entangled like two prize fighthers when suddenly one goose gets the upper-hand, pinching the weaker goose's neck and attempting to choke it out. The weaker goose escapes, but the video doesn't end there—you'll never guess its bizarre conclusion.
