NRA's Women On Target in the Field

Sign up now for NRA's Women On Target pheasant hunt in northeastern Michigan.


NettieBay Lodge, tucked away in beautiful northeastern Michigan, will host a European pheasant and traditional walk-up hunt. Ten birds per hunter will be released in a semi-wooded area, followed by a walk-up hunt using trained pointers.

Accommodations: The hospitality you expect in northern Michigan awaits each guest at NettieBay Lodge and it will continue throughout your stay. Each of the eight cottages and the Lodge has their own unique atmosphere. Cottages have compact, well-equipped kitchens. Blankets and pillows are provided. NettieBay Lodge offers beautiful pristine lakes and endless starlit skies.

Cost: $305.00 - includes safety orientation, shotgun patterning, one full day of hunting for up to ten birds per hunter, bird cleaning, meals from Friday evening to Saturday lunch, one night's lodging, 2:1 hunter to guide ratio and trained dog services.For more information on NettieBay Lodge, visit

Women On Target is designed to create more hunting and shooting opportunities for women. There are currently about two million American women who hunt and an additional four million who enjoy target shooting. These numbers are steadily increasing.

Fulfilling its mission to "create opportunities, encourage, educate, and mentor women's responsible participation in the recreational shooting and hunting sports," Women On Target is helping women learn shooting and hunting skills in a safe and supportive women-only atmosphere! In addition to exciting women-only hunts, Women On Target also sponsors a series of instructional shoots.
