Seminar: Craig Boddington's African Experience

Seminar Summary: The proudest of all hunting traditions comes to the NRA Annual Meetings on Saturday, May 15 at 2 p.m. Journey along with a master storyteller to a place that has been a dream destination for American sportsmen for over a century, a place incredibly rich in the lore of guns, wild game and adventure. Join in as the world's best-known hunter welcomes you to "Craig Boddington's African Experience."

Over the course of more than 100 safaris spanning three decades, Craig Boddington has explored more of this vast continent and pursued more of her diverse game than any other hunter in history. The record he has compiled—countless magazine articles, books, videos and a long-running TV series—has inspired hunters worldwide to take up the torch.

Boddington's presentation will explore the landscape of African hunting in a fast-paced mix of on-the-ground video, stunning wildlife photography and expert commentary, all designed to evoke the feel of the safari and to answer questions of those who dream of their own African adventures.

Moderator for the session is John Zent, Editorial Director of NRA Publications and a veteran of eight African safaris. "Once a hunter has been there, Africa will be in his or her blood forever," says Zent. "It's a big decision, of course, and we want to help NRA members give it due consideration."
