Outfitter hunts bring a lot of money to the state, but many residents feel they are losing valuable fishing and hunting opportunities.


Montana residents are split in a debate on non-resident outfitter-sponsored hunts. While the thousands of visitors who come each year to hunt and fish bring a lot of money to the state, some residents feel that the outfitting industry has robbed them of many hunting and fishing opportunities.
