Two of the biggest hunting groups in Montana, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the Montana Wildlife Federation, are at odds over the best policy for controlling the state's wolf population. The Wildlife Federation seeks to return wolves to Montana state management, while the Elk Federation is in support of removing gray wolves from the Endangered Species Act.
