Wisconsin Prepares for Wolf Hunt

Knowing that gray wolves will likely be delisted, many Wisconsin hunters are calling for a state wolf-hunting season.

As the U.S. Wildlife and Fisheries Service moves closer to removing the gray wolf from the endangered species list, many Wisconsin hunters are calling for a state-wide wolf-hunting season. Wolf-control measures were approved in 72 Wisconsin counties earlier this spring.
