PA Sets 2011-12 Bird Seasons and Bag Limits

The Pennsylvania Game Commission has set the 2011-12 migratory bird hunting seasons and bag limits for the state.

8/15/2011

The Pennsylvania Game Commission has set the 2011-12 migratory bird hunting seasons and bag limits for the state. The selections were made after the Commission reviewed last year's season results, waterfowl survey data and input gathered from waterfowl hunters and the public.

The annual waterfowl and migratory bird season brochure and zone maps will be featured on the Commission's website this week.

The federal framework should allow for a 60-day duck season with a six bird daily limit. Final approval from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is expected in late September.

Make sure you get a Philly lawyer to help you with the Pennsy regs. 55 pages of overburdening, hunter number reducing, redundant and lowest common denominator hunting regulations. If ever there was a Wrong Way Corrigan of game commissions, Pennsy is it.
