I don't have the Predator version yet but I do have the normal Venture in .223. Very happy with the rifle, shots about .5' 3rd group @ 100 yds with the usual Rem 55 GR FMJ. I plan to get a Predator in .308 very soon. Great rifles!

I bought my .308 in nov 2012. My first group was just under an inch with factory ammo. Now its shooting under 3/4s very consistanly when I do my part. Wont hesitate to get another one.

Recently purchased the Venture Predator in 204 Ruger. I too had a tough time with the bolting of a round in the chamber , turns out mine had a burr in the chamber probably explained the 6 inch plus groups at 100 yards. The magazine would not come out of my gun at all. Fixed that problem with a little filing of the inside of magazine well. Sent the gun back to Smith & Wesson and it was returned in a reasonable time frame. However when I took it back to the range accuracy was great but the rifle fired 28 times and the trigger failed. Now I have it in the safe waiting going on 3 weeks now for them to send me a trigger group to replace this one. Not to happy with my purchase so far.
